Why Rick Santorum Should be President

Richard John "Rick" Santorum, Pennsylvania Senator (1995-2007) and U.S. Representative (R-PA) (1991-1995), is perhaps the best suited man of all those who are currently running to become President of the United States. This great, family-oriented father of seven has proven to be a man of great morals and of strong Christian and American values - the kind of values which made America great. This man valiantly defends the lives of the innocent unborn and the sacred union which is marriage when others bow to the liberal agenda of anti-Christian and anti-tradionalist beliefs.

Rick Santorum voted for tax cuts during his tenure as Senator because he believes in the American Dream and he knows how it can be available for more people. Because Rick Santorum knows very well what economic freedom and liberty can help create and Rick's grandfather who emigrated from Italy knows very well what the economic opression of social-liberalism and high taxes does to a man, his country and his family. Rick Santorum is a champion of the values that made America great in the 20th century. Free-market capitalism and low taxes.

Now, you may say "Doesn't Ron Paul want to lower the taxes too? Why shouldn't we vote for that guy instead?" when you read this. Sure, Paul wants to lower the taxes as well - as do most Republicans and those few Democrats who see at the very least fiscal sense. However, is a man who opposes the death-penalty and believes that states should legalize marijuana and gay marriage if they wish the right man to lead a country that was made great through Christian values, integrity and morality and which truly is God's chosen country?

He is not. This man will only lead us to damnation and increasing secularism and decreasing the effect of Christian morals and values in our society, ultimately leading to the social liberalism and contempt for one's past and heritage that has so ferociously swept across Europe and even Canada.

The United States of America is an exceptional nation in many regards and it remains a lone bastion of old-time values of integrity and morals and respect and cherishing of our Christian heritage in today's increasingly secular and anti-Christian left-leaning West. We will not, I repeat not, bow to this unholy left-wing agenda that will ultimately destroy the United States as we know it we do not stop it! This is America, land of the free and home of the brave, and it shall remain so for many, many years to come.

If you love America, support Rick Santorum's run for the Presidency and help restore our bleeding nation!

God Bless America and God Bless the great man which is Rick Santorum!

"I have examined all the known superstitions of the world and I do not find
in our particular superstition of Christianity one redeeming feature. They
are all alike founded on fables and mythology. Millions of innocent men,
women, and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been
burnt, tortured, fined, and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this
coercion? To make one half the world fools and the other half hypocrites; to
support roguery and error all over the earth."

"What influence in fact have Christian ecclesiastical establishments had on
civil society? In many instances they have been upholding the thrones of
political tyrrany. In no instance have they been seen as the guardians of
the liberties of the people. Rulers who wished to subvert the public liberty
have found in the clergy convenient auxiliaries. A just government,
instituted to secure and perpetuate liberty, does not need the clergy."

These Founding Fathers were a reflection of the American population. Having
escaped from the state-established religions of Europe, only 7% of the
people in the 13 colonies belonged to a church when the Declaration of
    Independence was signed.

Yeah, let's go back to those great times.

  2. Dear Sir,

Neither I nor Senator Santorum is suggesting we go back to the kind of Christian totalitarianism that Europe suffered in the Dark Ages, but rather that we return to the Christian ethics and values that were cherished in America only 50 years ago and which made America into what it is today; the World's greatest Military, Cultural and Economic power.

  4. The standards which Ron Paul believes in made America into the world's greatest superpower, so you ought to stop contradicting yourself sir.

When did I contradict myself? Please point to a specific sentence or paragraph. I eagerly await your reply.

  6. The Catholic Church opposes the death penalty in nearly all cases, and Pope John Paul II often speaks out against capital punishment.

Now how come is Ron Paul decreasing the effect of christian morals and values of our society when he has the same stance as the catholic church's official one, regarding death penalty?

Ron Paul believes the marijuana policies should be set by the states, not on a federal level. Do you not see the difference between this correct term and the one that you use?

Rick Santorum believes in liberty you say.. Well that's way he defends SOPA.
Santorum believes that states have the authority to prohibit their citizens from acquiring and using contraceptives.

“Moreover, he believes they ought to use that power, because contraception is ‘a license to do things in a sexual realm that is counter to how things are supposed to be.’ He argues that by removing the procreative function from sex, you diminish its importance.”
Completely absurd that this man campaigns as FOR limited government and liberty but his actions and thoughts speak the opposite.

Rick voted five times to raise the debt ceiling. Rick voted for medicaid D.

Santorum was named the "Most Corrupt Politician" by a political watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette reported that Santorum took the most cash from corporate lobbyists of any other politician in Washington, adding that Santorum "has a black belt in hypocrisy. This was in 06.

At least it's nice that he proposes lowered taxes, while helping create a debth that will, in a soon future f*ck up this country so badly...

  8. Dear RPTIMES,

First of all; the Catholic Church is not the only Christian denomination and absolutely not the moral authority of all Christians. Secondly; one does not have to agree with one's denomination on all issues. For instance, Ron Paul is a Baptist and opposes the capital punishment despite the Baptist Church's policy of support of the capital punishment.

Just as Ron Paul opposes the death penalty despite being part of a denomination that supports death penalty, Rick Santorum supports the death penalty despite being part of a denomination which's leader opposes the death penalty.

Ron Paul, however, believes that things that are central to those of us who are of good moral character - such as the ban on same-sex marriage and the ban on use of marijuana - should be revoked and Christianity be ripped from the halls of county, state and federal office by the merciless claw of the anti-christian, liberal machine. Rick Santorum, being a true Conservative Christian naturally supports the preservation of Christianity in the United States and cherishes its Christian heritage that made it great.

Therefore, that is not in any way a contradiction on my behalf and I would appreciate if you would acknowledge that although you might not share my opinions, calling me 'contradictional' was absolutely unjustified.

Now, this is an absolute insanity. As much as I know, that this comment will be followed by author´s blind attempts to defend United States as the best country in the world, I shall still note here, that United States of America is country so rotten and so shattered in its foundations, that it is unbelievable, what such a conservative and wrecked republican can make up about it. This country is based on blood of all the native Americans, massacred all over its area.

It is based on a lie, which is still presented to the public by such failing and devastating governments, we´ve been able to see for a past decades there and by their corrupted attempts of creating an illusion for public to seem like they are the only salvation for the country and its problems.

It is based on a corrupted system, where families are so brainwashed, that even if they cannot afford it, they are still going to buy two huge cars and a monstrous residence, because, that is American... Which all results in America, taking the global economics to a whole new level of problems, such as a huge debt, scarcity and poverty.

It is based on a sick ways of nationalism, though there is no "American" race... There are Romanic, Germanic, Slavic, Asiatic, Ugric and Equatorial people all over the place and what´s left of those Inuits or Indians, no one knows...

These are just a few of many axiomatic facts, which no "American Dream" bullcrap can´t deny. Therefore I´d be much happier, if the author would continue writing, but leaving the unnecessary American brainwash behind someplace else.

    1. Dear Anonymous Reader,

The structure of the country and its state itself is in no way built upon the blood of Native Americans. However, the soil that now constitutes the United States was undoubtedly conquered in a horrific and immoral fashion. It may have been unjust to kill Native Americans for their land, but present day Americans had nothing to do with it and have no responsibility for the actions of their ancestors. Whilst I agree those actions taken by the colonizers in those early days were awful - what is done is done and there is no way to change the past.

However, the situation wouldn't improve for today's Native Americans if the United States were dissolved and all non-native Americans moved back to wherever they came from - in fact it'd just get a whole lot worse for everyone.

I have personally never heard, read or witnessed any claim for the existance of an American race - other than the Native American of course. I believe nearly everyone is aware of the ethnic diversity of the American people, which has proved essential in the development of America. Naturally, the United States wouldn't exist without immigration - for how else would the Europeans have gotten there in the first place? That is the beauty of America - people of all races, cultures and backgrounds come together as one single, proud nation.
